What is Nerivio® Infinity?
Nerivio Infinity is the new model of the Nerivio REN wearable. It has the same therapeutic benefits and utilizes the same REN waveform, providing the same clinically validated therapy with added convenience and sustainability. Unlike the original Nerivio (which is disposed of after its 18 treatments were used), the Nerivio Infinity is rechargeable and uses Refill Units that are disposed and replaced after every 18 treatments.
Is Nerivio Infinity FDA-cleared?
The Nerivio Infinity is FDA-cleared and the indication for both models is similar: acute and preventive treatment of migraine with or without aura in patients 8 years of age or older. Instructions for use remain the same: treat at onset for acute care and every other day for prevention.
Who can and cannot use Nerivio Infinity?
Nerivio Infinity is intended for patients ages 8+ living with migraine. Both Nerivio and Nerivio Infinity models share the same contraindications: it should not be used by people with uncontrolled epilepsy, an active implantable medical device (such as a pacemaker, hearing aid implant, or any implanted electronic device). Such use could cause electric shock, electrical interference, or serious injuries or medical conditions.
❗️Important Safety Information: Nerivio Infinity has not been evaluated in people with congestive heart failure (CHF), severe cardiac or cerebrovascular disease, or those under the age of 8. Nerivio should only be applied on the upper arm over dry, healthy skin, with normal physical sensation and away from proximity to cancerous lesions. Do not use the device on an arm with a metallic implant. In such cases, consider using it on the other upper arm. Use the device according to user and healthcare provider instructions. If treating more than once a day, wait 30 minutes and switch arms between treatments. Administering treatment more than 6 times per day is unlikely to provide any additional benefit.
Which app does Nerivio Infinity use?
Nerivio Infinity uses the Nerivio app. The existing Nerivio app automatically detects the connected model and presents the correct onboarding, features, and settings.
What to do if you have an NFC sync issue?
If you experience an error while trying to sync the NFC, please contact the Nerivio Cares Team via chat, email [email protected], or call 866-637-4846. The team will check your case and do one of the following:
If the NFC tag on the Refill Unit will be found faulty, we will replace your Refill Unit. To help us expedite the process, please send a screenshot of the exact error message you’re seeing. You can upload it in the chat or email it to [email protected].
If you use a tablet that does not support NFC, the app will identify it and will bypass the need to sync the NFC tag for your treatments. For any questions you are always welcome to chat, email [email protected], or call us at 866-637-4846.

About 25 minutes of charging provides enough power for one full treatment.
Charging during treatment is not possible (by design, for safety).
