Nerivio is an FDA-cleared, drug-free therapy for the acute and preventive treatment of migraine, with or without aura. It is available for patients ages 8 and up in the U.S., and for those 12 and up in other locations where Nerivio is offered.

Nerivio is a safe and effective Remote Electrical Neuromodulation (REN) wearable that harnesses the natural power of the brain to treat migraine pain and symptoms without drugs or disruption. It is controlled by a smartphone app and is worn on the upper arm for 45 minutes every other day for prevention or at the onset of a migraine attack for acute treatment.

Nerivio uses REN to send nociceptive messages via nerve fibers in the arm that trigger an internal pain management mechanism in the brain called conditioned pain modulation (CPM).

In simple words, the signals delivered by Nerivio act as messages, encouraging the brain to initiate a natural pain-management response. This is like flipping a switch in the body's system, instructing it to relieve and treat the migraine pain and associated symptoms.

Nerivio is a prescription device indicated for patients 8 and up for the acute and preventive treatment of migraine with or without aura. Clinical studies have shown that Nerivio is efficacious and safe for migraine with aura, without aura, episodic migraine, chronic migraine, and various migraine sub-types.

Nerivio should not be used by anyone with an active implantable medical device or with uncontrolled epilepsy.

Nerivio has not been evaluated in patients with congestive heart failure, severe cardiac or cerebrovascular disease, pregnancy, or patients under the age of 8.
