Nerivio is indicated for acute and/or preventive treatment of migraine with or without aura in patients 12 years of age or older. It is a prescription use, self administered device for use in the home environment at the onset of migraine headache or aura for acute treatment, or every other day for preventive treatment.

For acute treatment of migraine, clinical trials demonstrate that two-thirds of Nerivio patients achieved significant pain relief at 2 hours post-treatment.

In the migraine prevention trial, patients who used Nerivio every other day had a reduction of 4 migraine days after two months of treatment, with a significant reduction kicking in as early as two weeks from prevention initiation.
