Does Nerivio work?
Clinical trials have demonstrated a significant reduction in pain and other migraine symptoms when treating migraine attacks with Neirivio.
Other migraine symptoms include photophobia (sensitivity to light), phonophobia (sensitivity to sound), and nausea.
For migraine prevention, in a randomized placebo-controlled clinical trial, patients who used Nerivio every other day had a reduction of 4 migraine days after two months of treatment. Over half of the patients reduced the number of days with moderate to severe headaches by at least 50% in a month, significantly more than from using a placebo device. Results were seen as early as 2 weeks after using Nerivio every other day for prevention.
For acute treatment of migraine, a randomized placebo-controlled clinical trial of Nerivio for acute treatment of migraine demonstrated pain relief in 2 out of 3 patients (67%) and pain freedom in more than a third of patients (37%). For both of these measures, Nerivio outperformed placebo and was significantly significant.

Nerivio studies and clinical trials
The efficacy and safety of Nerivio has been extensively studied in more than 15,000 migraine patients in 21 studies to date.
How Nerivio differs from pharmacological treatments for migraine
Nerivio is different from pharmacological migraine treatments simply because it is a non-invasive and drug-free device. It is not a pill and it does not use needles.
Nerivio's novel mechanism of action (MOA) is unique. During treatment with Nerivio, nerves in the upper arm are stimulated through Remote Electrical Neuromodulation (REN). These nerves carry signals to the brain to activate CPM. Once activated, CPM works with the body to naturally relieve or turn off migraine pain without the need for medications.
