Before Using Nerivio Infinity for the First Time
Download the Nerivio App
Available on Google Play or the App Store. Make sure your smartphone meets the minimum requirements.
Sign Up and Pair Your Device
Create an account, accept the End User License Agreement (EULA) and pair your Nerivio Infinity via Bluetooth.
Charge the Device
Use the included USB-C cable to fully charge before your first session.
When Should I Use Nerivio Infinity?
Nerivio Infinity is a prescription therapy; always follow your healthcare provider’s directions.
Acute treatment: At the onset of a migraine attack.
Prevention: every other day.
Dual Use: Use every other day for prevention and as needed for acute attacks.
Steps for Treatment with the Nerivio Infinity
STEP 1 Download the Nerivio app
Make sure you have downloaded the app and created your account as per the instructions above.
Sign up and create your Nerivio account.
STEP 2 Pair the device to the app via Bluetooth
Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
Turn on the Nerivio Infinity device. You should see a green light flashing every 2 seconds on your device (a faster flash or no light at all indicates the battery is low or empty).
The device and the smartphone should be in proximity of less than 1 inch (2.5 cm).
Tap “Connect” when you see the prompt on your smartphone screen.
STEP 3 Sync the refill unit to the app via NFC
Enable NFC on your smartphone.
Take the refill unit out of the Nerivio Infinity Refill pack and place it on a flat surface. Make sure you save the refill pack for storage.
Locate the NFC tag on the refill unit and tap your smartphone on the NFC tag.
Make sure you receive on-screen confirmation that the app has detected the NFC.
Step 2 and 3 are required for every treatment.

It’s best to keep Bluetooth and NFC enabled at all times for a fast and smooth treatment connection.
💡TIP - To improve NFC detection, ensure that the back of your phone (typically around the camera area) is aligned with the NFC tag on the refill unit.
❗️IMPORTANT - If your Refill Unit is new and you get the below message please call us at 866-637-4846 or message back via the chat to help you replace the Refill Unit, as it may be damaged.
Message: "Your electrodes could not be verified. Replace with new Nerivio Infinity electrodes and tap your phone on the NFC tag again to sync."

STEP 4 Place the refill unit on your arm
Remove the protective liner from the refill unit. Make sure you save the protective liner for refill unit storage – each refill unit is good for up to 18 treatments.
Stick the refill unit on the outer side of your upper arm. The refill unit should be located midway between the elbow and the shoulder.
STEP 5 Place Nerivio Infinity and slide the armband over your arm
Secure the Nerivio Infinity device inside the armband.
Adjust the armband to your size by inserting the strap in the appropriate size slot.
To expand the armband, use the armband extensions.
Slide the armband with the device on your arm and place on the refill unit. You should hear a click when the device is attached properly to the refill unit pins. Then, fasten the strap.
STEP 6 Start treatment and set your personal intensity
Start treatment by pressing the ‘Start’ button in the Nerivio app.
To find your personal intensity, gradually increase the stimulation intensity using the ‘Plus’ button.
Keep increasing until the stimulation is no longer comfortable.
Now, decrease 1%-2% down using the ‘Minus’ button.
💡TIP - the intensity level should feel strong, yet comfortable and not painful.
What Does the Treatment Feel Like?
The device transmits electrical pulses. You may feel a strong tingling sensation at first, but it will typically fade to a comfortable level after a couple of minutes.
During the Treatment
Both acute and preventive treatments are 45 minutes.
During the treatment, questions regarding your migraine symptoms will be automatically displayed. You can record your migraine symptoms in the diary or skip this by touching ‘Skip’.
You can pause the treatment session up to 5 minutes by touching the ‘Pause’ button in the middle of the treatment screen.
Touch ‘Resume treatment’ to continue or ‘Stop treatment’ to stop the current treatment session. Each session can be paused only 3 times.
To stop treatment, touch the ‘Pause’ button and then press ‘Stop treatment’.
After the Treatment
When the treatment is complete, remove the armband, the device, and the refill unit from your arm.
💡TIP - the device will turn off automatically several minutes after the treatment has ended (the green light will turn off).
Apply the protective liner to the reusable refill unit. Place the refill unit back in the
Nerivio Infinity Refill pack and place the device in its box or in the travel pouch to store it for next use.
Common Questions about the Nerivio Infinity
Can I use the Nerivio Infinity for less than 45 minutes?
No, a full 45-minute session is recommended for maximum benefit.
Can I use the Nerivio Infinity for more than one session in a row?
Administering treatment more than 6 times per day is unlikely to provide any additional benefit. If treating more than once a day, wait 30 minutes and switch arms between treatments.
Does the orientation of the button on the Nerivio Infinity matter?
No, as long as the device is correctly placed on your arm.
Does the Nerivio Infinity have an off button?
The Nerivio Infinity device has no off button - it will turn off automatically several minutes after the treatment has ended (the green light will turn off).
Daily Life with Nerivio Infinity
You can move around during treatment. Use it at work, school, home, and on the go.
Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.
Do not use in water (showers, swimming, etc.)
Do not share your device with others. It is prescribed for you only.
